Our RWC course is here to help you!

Our RWC Course offers the candidate theoretical/practical training and examination, thus enabling the candidate to undertake the role of Welding Coordinator and/or Responsible Welding Co-ordinator within the workplace with clarity and confidence.

Who this course is aimed at?

The course is aimed at companies/individuals who are involved in the structural steel work and structural fabrication industries and is designed for Managers, Welding Supervisors, Workshop Foremen, Structural Engineers, Quality Managers, Welding Inspectors & Senior Welders.

What do we offer?

Our two day course the candidates are guided through everything required to be the RWC for their company. After the two days, there will be an open book written examination which they are free to take away to complete in their spare time and is designed to test not what they remember, but their competency as Responsible Welding Coordinators. The open book exam is split into 65 questions and requires a pass rate of 76%. However candidates aren’t given a set time limit, they are free to take the exam home to work through it in their own time and with it being an open book course all the information is available, candidates are encouraged to use external help such as the internet (Google) or publications as we look to test their ability, not their memory.

Each candidate will receive a Certificate of Attendance following completion of the two day course and a Responsible Welding Coordinator Certificate (up to and including Execution Class 2 of EN 1090-1) following a successful assessment.

Who runs the course?
